Grizzly loves his puzzles we bought at Chewy (in prior blog). When Maverick came to live with us, I decided to up my enrichment game.

Where do you start? How about at home? I have many cupcake tins. So here is what I did...

Put Bear Bones Bakery training treats in the cups, top with tennis balls, and let the pup find his treats.

I also used silicone baking sheets I bought, smeared with a healthy scoop of peanut butter. Both boys just LOVE peanut butter.

Then I made a snuffle mat...for my daughter's pup, Luna. More to be made for mine. And also for Jager, and his kitty friend Joe (which will probably end up a place for him to curl up rather than hide his toys in....

They all love kongs, especially stuffed then frozen...and yes, the training treats are part of the filling.

Favorites are (starting with the kong upside down so you are filling the small hole 1st): Apples, oats, apple pie training treats, peanut butter. Apples, chicken liver, chicken training treats, peanut butter. Blueberies, chicken liver, Chedd-Ah training treats, peanut butter.

Enrichment is good for the doggos for mental stimulation. It is also a great way to let them calm down and relax with something they love.

Please let us know what you think about enrichment games/puzzles. And what your canine's favorite Bear Bones Bakery treats you use!

Happy tail wags to all!

Grizzly, Maverick and Chewy
